AÏDA Café-Konditorei is a fourth-generation Viennese family business, founded in 1913, and the world’s first coffeehouse chain. For more than 110 years, AÏDA has combined traditional Viennese coffeehouse culture with professional food production, retail innovation and international expansion.

All of AÏDA’s signature cakes, pastries and Viennese specialities are produced in its own manufactory in Vienna. The range includes iconic Austrian products such as Sachertorte, apple strudel, Punschkrapfen, Kardinalschnitte, cakes, cheesecakes and other sweet bakery products, alongside coffee and selected savoury concepts.

AÏDA operates its own café and retail locations and has successfully expanded into food retail, travel retail, franchising and international foodservice. The brand works with leading partners such as SSP, Lagardère and Allresto, with concepts operating in Austria and international locations including Munich, Berlin, Bratislava and Jeddah.

A particular strength of AÏDA is the combination of traditional handmade production with scalable retail solutions. Products and concepts can be developed for supermarkets, convenience retail, airports, railway stations, cafés, hotels, vending concepts and other foodservice channels. Depending on the market and partner, AÏDA offers finished products, frozen solutions, portioned products, retail packaging, co-branding opportunities and tailor-made product development.

As a family-owned Austrian brand, AÏDA is looking to build long-term partnerships with retailers, distributors, foodservice operators and international franchise partners who are interested in bringing authentic Viennese confectionery and coffeehouse culture to new markets.
