Hannes Reeh Winery is located in Andau, one of Austria’s sunniest and driest wine-growing areas, east of Lake Neusiedl and close to the Hungarian border. The warm Pannonian climate and distinctive sandy, gravelly soils of the Heideboden provide ideal conditions for expressive wines with character, depth and a strong sense of origin.

Hannes Reeh took over the family winery with the 2007 vintage and has since developed it into an internationally successful estate. Today, the winery cultivates around 65 hectares of its own vineyards and works closely with selected partner growers from the region, covering an additional 60 hectares.

At the heart of the winery is a simple philosophy: “Wine should be a passion, not a science.” The wines are authentic and approachable, combining Austrian winemaking tradition with a modern and uncomplicated style.

While Zweigelt, Austria’s signature red grape variety, remains at the heart of Hannes Reeh, white wines and rosé are playing an increasingly important role in the portfolio. Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Blanc in particular reflect the winery’s fresh and contemporary side, complemented by vibrant, fruit-driven rosé wines.

The portfolio ranges from easy-drinking classics to distinctive premium wines. Haus & Hof represents approachable varietal wines for everyday enjoyment, while Heideboden highlights the character of the local terroir.

The Unplugged collection represents the purest expression of Hannes Reeh’s winemaking philosophy: authentic, expressive wines made without unnecessary intervention, fining or cosmetic treatment.

In addition to its own brands, Hannes Reeh Winery is an experienced and flexible partner for private-label wines, working with customers to develop tailor-made products for international markets, retailers and distribution partners.
