Kalea

Kalea (Hawaiian for “giving joy”) is a small beer enthusiast company founded in Salzburg in 2010 that works with many independent private breweries.

The company became known for its beer advent calendar, which has surprised customers with a new selection of beers every year since 2010 and has since become a true cult item.

Over the years, countless new editions of the beer calendar have been added. Beer lovers can enjoy a wide variety of beer styles and country versions. The success of the calendar has inspired the team to create many more beer-related offers and tasting boxes.

Then, in 2016, Kalea developed the first German-language beer rating platform: BeerTasting! Well over 300,000 beers from more than 20,000 breweries are now entered on this platform.

With the first marketplace for beer BeerTasting.com Kalea also offers an online store for private breweries. There, beer fans can choose from various tasting sets from over 60 breweries, put together their own tasting packages, or purchase beer-themed gift items.
